Avantik Makes $2,500 Donation to Direct Relief to Support Hurricane Irma Relief Efforts
Springfield, N.J. - Avantik has donated $2,500 to support Direct Relief’s Hurricane Irma Program. Direct Relief is a non-profit organization headquartered in Santa Barbara that provides essential medicines and supplies to healthcare facilities throughout the U.S. and around the world for nearly seven decades. Direct Relief does this on an ongoing basis, but is also able to dial up the mobilization of these critical resources during times of disaster.
In response to Hurricane Irma, Direct Relief has sent thirty shipments of medical aid valued at over $20 million to twenty health care organizations recovering from the damage of the storm, with many additional shipments planned on the horizon.
Avantik is proud to help Direct Relief bring medical aid and support to the victims of Hurricane Irma.

Avantik Makes $5,000 donation to The Rapid Relief Team to Support Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts
Springfield, N.J. - Avantik has donated $5,000 to support disaster relief efforts through the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) USA Fundraiser. The RRT USA fundraiser’s goal is to generate funds for the needs currently arising from RRT initiatives, including Hurricane Harvey Relief and other RRT Relief Efforts.
Rapid Relief Team is a global charitable organization inspired by community spirit and the gift of giving with a steady movement of volunteer efforts across the globe.
On August 27, 2017, the Rapid Relief Team from San Antonio, Texas, drove to Ingleside, where they handed out hundreds of refreshment pails to those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Each pail included water bottles, bags of chips, granola bars, trash bags, and a bar of soap.
RRT was grateful for the opportunity to show their support and compassion to these victims and their families. Avantik is proud to help The Rapid Relief Team continue to bring hope and support to the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
